2025 Nucleus Colony, local ORHBS queen (50% deposit)

Our 4-frame spring nucs are made to the specifications of the Ontario Bee Breeders’ Association standards. Restoration Honey Bee Company is enrolled in the Ontario Resistant Honey Bee Selection (ORHBS) program, meaning our breeder queens are carefully selected for hygienic behaviour and disease-resistance. We also select for winter hardiness, calmness (“comb stability”), and gentle temperament. Our bees will be provincially inspected to ensure that they are disease-free.

Our 4 frame nucs include the following:

• 4 deep (standard size) frames

  • 2 frames of brood

  • 1 frame of food (honey and pollen)

  • 1 frame of drawn out foundation for the bees to expand into

  • Adhering adult bees on all frames to tend to the hive

  • A marked ORHBS queen, either overwintered from 2024 (limited), or locally reared from 2025

• 1 nuc box for transport

• 50% reserves nuc; full payment required prior to pick-up

Anticipated pick-up date is June 1, 2025 from Eganville, ON. 

$260 per nucleus colony. 50% deposit required on all nuc orders, by cash, website order or Interac eTransfer (preferred)
